It is with much sadness that we report the death of our Senior Research Fellow, Professor Sandy Stewart. Professor Stewart was Honorary Research Professor in the History of Philosophy at the Universities of Aberdeen and Lancaster where he was formerly Professor of Philosophy, and the former editor of Philosophical Books. He edited Studies in the Philosophy of the Scottish Enlightenment (1990), coedited Hume and Hume's Connexions (1994) and has also published on Locke and on philosophy in the dissenting tradition.
