Dr Catherine Wills (1950-2022)

The Principal and Fellows of Harris Manchester are sorry to hear of the death on 29 July of Dr Catherine Wills, Associate Fellow of the College.

Dr Wills was an art historian by training, having studied for a BA and PhD at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London, with a doctoral thesis on the Scottish portrait painter Sir Francis Grant.

Among her many philanthropic activities, Dr Wills was a longstanding supporter of the College through the Farmington Trust, of which she served as a Trustee. 
The College extends its condolences to Dr Wills’ cousins John and Christopher, and to all her family and friends.
