We would like to invite you to Trinity term’s session of the Harris Manchester Medical Seminar series. These medical seminar series offer an opportunity to learn and gain insight into different fields of Medicine and Surgery.
This term’s talk will be given by Dr. Luke Austen (Oxford Medical School class of 2018) on the topic “The Bleep Test” which will highlight themes for discussion from his upcoming book “The Bleep test: How new doctors can get things right”, due to be published at the end of May this year. The talk will open up discussions on questions such as “What does it mean to help save someone’s life?, “How does it feel to nearly kill a patient?”, and “In the face of overwhelming pressures, can we thrive or only survive”?.
The talk will take place on Wednesday 3 May from 4:30pm at the Warrington Room in Harris Manchester College.
