Current students
Details for current students can be found on the Degree Ceremonies section of the Student Dashboard.
Alumni
If you completed your studies some time ago, it is still possible to have your degree conferred. Harris Manchester attends several ceremonies a year, but please be aware that spaces are prioritised for current students, so you may have to join a waiting list if you would like to attend in person.
To enquire about ceremony availability, please email graduation@hmc.ox.ac.uk and we'll be in touch soon.
Oxford Master of Arts conferrals
The status of Master of Arts is a mark of seniority within the University which may be conferred twenty-one terms after matriculation. This is not an automatic process and to obtain your MA you must apply through your college to graduate at a degree ceremony (either in person or in absentia).
There is a fee to pay to have this award conferred.
To enquire about having the MA conferred, please email graduation@hmc.ox.ac.uk and we'll be in touch soon.
Important notes about ceremonies
Please note that once you are booked onto a ceremony to attend in person, the deadline for withdrawal is 60 days ahead of time. After this deadline, you are not permitted to withdraw and your degree will be conferred in absentia. As part of booking your ceremony, you will be required to agree to the Ceremony Terms and Conditions provided by the University. Full details of these will be provided at the point you request a booking. Further details about ceremonies, including the current Terms and Conditions, can be found on the University's Degree Ceremonies page.
