A Harris Manchester offer-holding student has been selected as one of the first cohort of Ellison Scholars at the Ellison Institute of Technology (EIT).
Kinsey Yi Hin Yiu, who is due to study Engineering Science at the College from October, is one of 20 students from 11 countries in the undergraduate cohort of Ellison Scholars. Many of the Scholars have already won international competitions and earned recognition in their fields.

Kinsey won Gold at the Singapore Science and Engineering Fair and was selected to represent Singapore at the Global Youth Science and Technology Bowl in Hong Kong. His interests include novel wastewater treatment methods and biofilm eradication in healthcare settings.
In addition to his academic work at HMC, Kinsey will work on innovative projects at EIT’s state-of-the-art Oxford campus, collaborating with world-renowned experts on finding practical solutions to some of society’s most enduring problems.
