Maureen recently retired as Director of Development for the Oxford University’s Faculty of Law. Taking up this role in 2004, she became Oxford’s first departmental fundraiser working closely with colleges and the University for joint scholarships and endowed teaching posts. For three years, she sat on the University Alumni Board as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and acting as Treasurer. Prior to this, Maureen held a variety of positions including a lecturer in humanities at Franklin Institute of Boston, a legal researcher on a state-wide legal needs study for the State of Massachusetts, part of the transitional team for Glaxo Welcome and Smith Kline Beecham for the GSK merger, and Director of Development at both Earthwatch, an organisation that funds scientific field research throughout the world, and The Royal Institution of Great Britain.
