HMC student receives Medal of Excellence

Harris Manchester is proud to congratulate Khansa Maria (MPhil Development Studies), on receiving the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, which is a state organised honour, from the President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi. This prestigious award is a testament to her activism and educational achievements. Khansa is dedicated to improving accessibility and disability rights, and her exceptional work has been recognised by her home country. Khansa is due to complete her studies at Harris Manchester this summer. With her M.Phil in Development Studies soon to be completed, Khansa certainly has a bright future ahead of her. 

Reflecting on this milestone, Khansa had this to say: 'For me, receiving this award is a huge privilege and an honour. More than that, it is a responsibility to continue my advocacy'.
