Steven Firmin is the McDonald Departmental Lecturer in Christian Ethics for the Faculty of Theology and Religion at the University of Oxford.
His research interests include the interaction of Christian and Muslim political theology, Augustinian political theology, and the use of the Old Testament in political theology and Christian ethics.
A former member of the Oxford Imps, he is also interested in the use of improvisation as a metaphor in Christian ethics.
